Our Creating Process

Inspiration & Sketches
Every piece begins with an idea — sometimes it’s a fleeting moment in nature, the vibrant colors of a bird, or the soft glow of morning light through the leaves. We also draw inspiration from holidays, traditions, and the personal stories our customers share with us. Each source of inspiration is carefully observed and reimagined on paper, where we create detailed, hand-drawn sketches. These sketches are the way to capture emotions, movement, and atmosphere. It’s at this stage that the character of the design is born, setting the tone for everything that follows.

Glass Selection
Once the design is finalized, the next step is choosing the perfect glass. Each sheet of stained glass is unique — no two are ever the same. They differ in color shades, transparency, texture, and the way they reflect light. We carefully match every piece to the mood of the sketch, ensuring that the chosen glass conveys the right depth, energy, and harmony. This stage is like painting with light itself, where the “palette” is made of glowing fragments of glass that will soon become part of a whole.

Hand Cutting & Shaping
Using the Tiffany technique, the glass pieces are hand-cut, smoothed, and prepared for assembly. This stage requires precision and patience to bring the design to life.

Foiling & Soldering
Once the glass pieces are prepared, each fragment is carefully wrapped with thin copper foil. This creates the foundation for connecting the elements. Next comes soldering: the pieces are joined with molten metal, which forms strong, durable seams. At the same time, the solder lines define the design, highlighting its structure and giving the work its distinctive stained-glass look. This stage requires precision and consistency to ensure both reliability and a clean, professional finish.

The finished creation is now ready to bring beauty, warmth, and timeless charm into your home. Every item we make carries not just craftsmanship, but also emotion — a piece of art made to last for years.
